Bombus Impatiens
mary weathers poetry
the late summer garden is filled with the last vestiges of tomatoes
the start of okra
the mottled leaves of disease
the bumble bees chase that final high
burying themselves in pale yellow cucumber blossoms
lavender eggplant flowers
hurrying onward to the fading hyssop
dainty carrot bouquets
they are wild with want
giving actual meaning to the word
Ecstasy
